“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” – Acts 3:19
Repentance isn’t self-hatred. It’s a Spirit-empowered turning from death to life. Faith isn’t mere agreement with facts — it’s personal trust in the finished work of Christ. These are not religious duties, but gifts of grace that mark our new beginning in Jesus.
The word "repent" means to change one’s mind — not just about sin, but about God, about ourselves, and about what really brings life. Repentance is not trying harder, it's trusting deeper. It's a surrender to the truth that only Jesus saves and transforms.
Faith is not positive thinking or willpower — it is leaning fully on Jesus. True faith accepts that Christ's death and resurrection are enough. We receive, not achieve. Faith rests in the truth that “it is finished.”
Ask the Holy Spirit:
Father, thank You for loving me even in my brokenness. I turn from trying to fix myself and place my trust fully in Jesus. I receive Your grace and choose to walk by faith — not in guilt, but in newness of life. In Jesus' name, amen.
Write a reflection on what repentance and faith have looked like in your journey. Is there an area of your life where God is inviting you to trust Him more deeply?
